Great plots of Burgundy

Nicolas Potel’s commitment to his own project, like the one that led his father to a genuine renewal of Burgundy in the 60s and 70s of the twentieth century, is consolidated in 2007 with Domaine de Bellene. Each of the project’s vineyards, located in 22 Burgundy appellations, are made in separate areas to preserve the purity of each yeast and all the richness that comes from the vineyard.

For its part, Roche de Bellene is a merchant that aims to preserve the authenticity of Burgundy, linked to the soil, the variety, the climate and the vigneron. Maison Roche de Bellene offers a selection of fine wines from the best Burgundy orientations. Nicolas Potel chooses the winegrowers and the wines, which will continue their evolution at Roche de Bellene with the utmost care, respecting the unique terroir of Burgundy.

Historical Varieties

Their way of understanding the area involves only old vines, with a massive selection of post-phylloxera clones from more historic plots and a completely respectful and careful way of handling pinot noir and chardonnay. The origin, each plot of the purest Burgundy, are the reality of Domaine de Bellene, of Groupe de Bellene and of all Burgundy.
