Landscapes of the Rheingau

Schloss Reinhartshausen is one of the most special wine-growing areas in the old world. In the heart of the Rheingau, the Riesling variety is in the air, from the banks of the Rhine to the highest altitudes of its plots. Since 1337, the chateau has been making wines from each of its vineyards with results that elevate this area to one of the most iconic places in the world.

Riesling is the most famous variety in this area. With a good classification of vineyards, the winegrowers have developed over time the best plots for each of their varieties. It is the Riesling vines that have elevated the Rheingau to the status of one of the world’s top wine-growing areas.
