Plot diversity

The great difference in evolution, aromas and sensations of each parcel depends on the reality of the soil. On a volcanic hillside, the lava tongues of the last half million years, although the most recent flows are from the end of the 17th century, have petrified individually. The richness of the vineyard arises from a very complex and diverse division.

The weight of tradition

Girolamo Russo’s winemaking processes seek to re-establish the historical and viticultural reality of the area, so the recovery of traditional work is fundamental to the project. Success and quality are based, as traditionally, on short pruning, plowing, hoeing, tying, traditional sulfur and copper treatments, and a good selection of grapes at harvest.
